Anaheim has allowed the fewest goals (12 GA) over the first seven games of a season in franchise history (previously 13 GA in 2006-07).
10-16-19- Ryan Getzlaf gave the Ducks the lead in the second period with a power-play goal, marking Anaheim’s first tally with the man advantage this season. The goal also represented Getzlaf’s 52nd career game-winner, which ranks third among all-time franchise leaders (Selanne first with 77, Perry second with 64).
10-18-19- Appearing in his 500th career NHL game, Jakob Silfverberg scored his second goal in as many games and his fourth of the season 37 seconds into the second period. With the goal, Silfverberg has points in three of four games (3-2=5) along with a +8 rating.
10-29-19- The Anaheim Ducks set a season-high for goals scored as they improved to 5-1-0 at home with a 7-4 win over the Winnipeg Jets at Honda Center. With the victory, Anaheim matched its second-best home start in franchise history (third time, last: 2012-13) and best since a franchise-record 6-0-0 start in 2013-14. Anaheim’s seven goals marked the highest offensive output for the club since an 8-2 victory March 8, 2019 vs. Montreal.
10-29-19- Cam Fowler became the franchise’s all-time leader in goals by a defenseman with his 61st career tally, passing Scott Niedermayer (60). Fowler holds club records in goals, assists (218) and points (279) by a defenseman. He leads Anaheim blueliners with three goals this season.

11-1-19- Playing in his 999th career game, Ryan Getzlaf scored the game-winning goal at the 2:30 mark of overtime, giving Anaheim its first victory in extra time this season. The goal marked Getzlaf’s club-record 10th career overtime goal and his 54th career game-winning goal.

11-1-19- John Gibson also assisted on the overtime game-winning goal, marking the 40th assist by a goaltender in Ducks history and the fourth of Gibson’s career.
11-3-19- Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf became the first Duck in franchise history to reach 1,000 games. Getzlaf is the sixth NHL player in the last 40 NHL seasons to play their first 1,000 games with one franchise and win 548 (or more) of them (548-333-119). Getzlaf is also the eighth active player to appear in his first 1,000 career games with the same team, and the 53rd all-time (19th as a center). Getzlaf surpassed Corey Perry (988) for the all-time franchise lead in games played with his 989th career NHL appearance Oct. 11 at Columbus. Getzlaf leads the franchise in appearances and is followed by Perry (second), Teemu Selanne (third at 966 games), Cam Fowler (fourth at 635) and Steve Rucchin (fifth at 616).

12-2-19- Anaheim Ducks has gone 19-6-5 in the last 30 regular-season games vs. LA. Since the start of the 2010-11 season, the Ducks have scored 119 goals to the Kings’ 107 (shootout goals excluded) in 46 games. 12-14-19- Jakob Silfverberg scored his 20th career shootout goal and sixth career game-deciding goal in a 4-3 comeback win over the New York Rangers today at Honda Center. The Ducks recorded a season-high 42 shots on net as the club improved to 11-4-3 all-time at home vs. the Rangers.
1-29-20- Hampus Lindholm extended the Ducks’ lead to 3-1 with a power-play goal at 5:25 of the second period. The goal marked Lindholm’s 12th career PPG, his second of the season, and extended his point streak to a season-tying three games (1-2=3, +4). Lindholm also recorded his ninth career game-winning goal, his first such goal since Mar. 25, 2018 at Edmonton.
2-25-20- Sonny Milano scored two goals, including his second career overtime tally, as the Ducks defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 tonight at Honda Center. Milano is the 10th player in NHL history to score an overtime goal in their first game with a franchise (career debut or otherwise). Jarrod Skalde is the only other player in Ducks franchise history to do so on Dec 12, 1993 vs. St. Louis. Milano also became the fourth player in club history to score two goals in his Anaheim debut (also Alex Hicks on Nov. 15, 1995 vs. Colorado, Steve Thomas on Mar. 12, 2003 vs. Chicago and Dan Winnik on Jan. 19, 2013 at Vancouver). Milano’s overtime tally was his first such goal since Oct. 10, 2017 at Carolina.
